Dynalectric San Diego utilized integrated project delivery to provide full design and construction services for the electrical, low voltage, telecommunications/data, power generation, lighting controls, and public address systems for this new cardiac hospital.

This LEED Gold certified, 127,000 square foot, medical facility features three operating rooms, one hybrid operating room, three catheterization laboratories, two floors of patient beds, a digital radiology center, CT room, emergency room, pre/post operating day bed area, and administrative offices.

Our scope of work included:

• Telecommunications/data system

• Lighting controls
• Public address system

The Thornton Hospital Cardiovascular Center unifies University of California San Diego’s patient care, clinical research, and teaching programs in heart and vascular disease and stroke management.
